Good News! We have opened up our private training sessions, field trips, and board and train services to dogs outside of our service dog programs. Let our trainers help you achieve your training goals!

Please Note: Receiving any of the following services does not mean that your dog is a service dog, service dog in training, or in any of Starfleet Service Dog, Inc.'s service dog programs. 

Private Lessons

QUICK FACTS

  1. Private Lessons are available for any dog and any person

  2. Private Lessons are 100% tailored to you and your dog's needs

  3. Our trainers work with your and your dog to progress your training goals

  4. Private Lessons allow you to learn from one of our trainers at an hourly rate 

  5. Private Lessons are held in person OR via Live Video Chat (subject to client location)

 

DESCRIPTION

Everyone has questions ​or needs some guidance from time to time. Allow our trainers to devote their complete attention to you and your dog's unique needs.

 

Common Topics Include: puppy training, toilet training, obedience, manners, leash manners, foundational skills, preparing for AKC evaluations, newly adopted dogs, setting boundaries, recall, crate training, how to be a GAMECHANGER, etc.

Dog Field Trips

  2. Your dog's Field Trip is tailored to your training goals

  3. Our trainers work with your dog to progress your training goals in real world settings

  4. Field Trips allow your dog to receive consistent training from one of our trainers throughout the day 

  5. Field Trips are held in person only (subject to client location)

 

DESCRIPTION

Have training goals, but don't have the time to be involved? Does your dog need consistency that you just can't seem to provide? Does your dog need an adventure that also teaches them valuable life skills? Our dog filed trips are designed to allow our trainers the freedom to conquer your goals throughout their day in many different environments. Special requests encouraged!

 

Common Topics Include: puppy training, socialization, desensitization, off leash training, adventures, public access (service dogs only), leash manners, obedience, people manners, dog manners, car riding, etc.

$150/session (extra travel costs may be occurred if client dogs need to be picked up/dropped off)

Board and Train​

  1. Board and Trains are available for any dog and any person

  2. Your dog's Board and Trains is tailored to your training goals

  3. Our trainers work with your dog to progress your training goals in home life and real world settings

  4. Board and Trains allow your dog to receive consistent training from one of our trainers in our trainer's homes and daily life.

  5. Board and Trains are subject to client location

  6. You must provide proof of current vaccinations, heart worm preventative, flea and tick preventative, and deworming

  7. Turnover training is included to the client at the conclusion of Board and Trains for 1 week or more.

 

DESCRIPTION

Some skills require more time and consistency. We are here to help you obtain a well-rounded and well-mannered canine companion. Whether you are looking for someone to jump start your new puppy's training or to gain valuable life skills, we do the heavy lifting for you. Unlike other programs, your dog will live with our trainers in their home as if they were their own dog (we are not a kenneling facility!). We offer our board and train option based upon trainer availability.
